DHCP + Radius + Accounting

Tue Jan 05, 2010 11:07 pm

Hi all,

Can I do the accounting using radius of the traffic of my customers through the DHCP authentication?

I don't use hotspot but I'm needing to know how much of bytes each customer is using and my customers don't have fixed IP address, than I can't creating a simple queue (the dhcp create one simple queue for each customer dynamically but the IP can change) for each customer and make a script to read the counters.

Best regards

unfortunately, no - you cannot obtain traffic accounting information directly from DHCP

maybe TrafficFlow may help you

Hi Chupaka, thanks for the reply!

The DHCP creates the simple queues dinamically. Can I use those queues to get the traffic and sent it to my mysql server?

If yes do you know can I do this?

Best regards
