First i must say sorry for my bad english.

I have mikrotik 4.6 on x86 platform. on supermicro mainboard and 2x inel dual core 2 duo procesor.

I have problem with utorrent i cannot block them. i alredy have set chain=forward p2p=allp2p action drop but not working for utorrent it keep running downloading like crazy. bittorrent ktorrent block fine.

I setup L7 filter for bitttorrent, edonky, kazza.... and in filter i set chain=forward Layer/ protocol=bittorrent action=drop but i cannot find utorrent l7 header. I setup a webproxy with cache on disk and i have block a torrent pages and utorrent web page


Can you mikrotik experts PLEASE help me to setup l7 header for utorrent or block utorrent on different way????

There is no true-fire way to block torrent, search the forums and you will understand what I mean. I admit this is both good and bad, in that torrent has it's advanages in lowering server load from the main host, but kills an ISP bandwidth.

can you tell me how to limit all p2p traffic in Queues on upload and download? npr. upload ad 5kb/s download 64kb/s

I dont know your needs/config but you could try also blocking any unnecessary ports (IE leave only HTTP, DNS or such). I don't know if this works though, I think I read somewhere here torrent might just start using ANY open ports if it can't find any good ones.

i read all. but not works for me. i set connections limit and block dns from torrent sites. utorrent its so powerfull....
