reset 411/411R

Thu May 06, 2010 8:05 pm

Hi
I tried to setup my routerboard 411/411R in bridge mode,
but accidentally I had disable Ethernet interface by Winbox, and now I cannot enter in my router (winbox doesn't find nothingh and I cannot ping it by ethernet interface!!)
How can I reset my router?

hi ...you can connect to router by hyperterminal....or securecrt... i've experienced the same problem

it's not cross cable.... see this https://specialcomp.com/beagleboard/null_modem.jpg

if your pc doesn't support db9 ports you can use db9-to-usb convertor...

Yes, any changes you make to the router are instantly saved and active unless you are entering a config in safe mode. If safe mode is enabled, if you are logged out improperly from the router, it will revert the config back to what it was before you entered safe mode.
