Need to setup a 450g as a VPN server

Hi all

Please see this:

Can someone give me some steps on how to do this setup? i am very new to this kind of stuff so i would need some very easy steps. Thanks a lot

You could use PPTP to do this. Check out the following link.

AFAIK you just have to run like a PPTP VPN server on the MikroTik and then connect to it from your laptop. You'll also have to create a new Secret (username, password, local & remote addresses) for you to be able to log in and get an IP address from the VPN server.

Unfortunately you'll have to add static routes on your laptop for those internal hosts, unless you're fine with all the Internet traffic also passing through the VPN.

Hi all

The same problem is reported here:

Only problem I got is that I cant ping to internal hosts when I am connected to the PPTP server.

Any help?

Finally I managed to find the solution. Just enabled proxy-arp on the BRIDGE interface!
