Problem with traffic-flow in Mikrotik 4.8

Tue May 18, 2010 9:47 am

Hello.

I use Mikrotik 4.8:
[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /system> resource print
                   uptime: 1w6d3h32m4s
                  version: "4.8"
              free-memory: 1898152kB
             total-memory: 1945824kB
                      cpu: "Intel(R)"
                cpu-count: 2
            cpu-frequency: 2925MHz
                 cpu-load: 5
           free-hdd-space: 449060kB
          total-hdd-space: 484630kB
  write-sect-since-reboot: 30456
         write-sect-total: 30456
        architecture-name: "x86"
               board-name: "x86"
                 platform: "MikroTik"
[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /system>
I want to use ip traffic-flow for my vlan:
[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /ip traffic-flow> print
                enabled: yes
             interfaces: e2_v15
          cache-entries: 4k
    active-flow-timeout: 30m
  inactive-flow-timeout: 15s
[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /ip traffic-flow>
[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /ip traffic-flow> monitor
     finished-flows: 0
       active-flows: 0
  unmanaged-packets: 0
    unmanaged-bytes: 0

[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /ip traffic-flow>
[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /ip traffic-flow> target print
Flags: X - disabled
 # ADDRESS VERSION
 0 217.27.XX.XX:8820 5
[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /ip traffic-flow>
Vlan e2_v15 have pppoe session and traffic from it:
[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /interface> monitor-traffic e2_v15
  rx-packets-per-second: 1107
    rx-drops-per-second: 0
   rx-errors-per-second: 0
     rx-bits-per-second: 1684.2kbps
  tx-packets-per-second: 1122
    tx-drops-per-second: 0
   tx-errors-per-second: 0
     tx-bits-per-second: 3.7Mbps

[voloshin@ntk-hsgw] /interface>
Why count on traffic monitor is 0??? And not send flow from vlan e2_v15?

As far as I know, there were not any changes for Traffic-Flow and problem described in the original post.
But you may try to install 4.10 and see how it will work for you.
