Hi community,
I've setup a new RB1100 to act as a managed switch and it appears to be handling the VLAN's correctly, however when I add a VLAN to one of the interfaces on the Mik, I cannot ping the IP on the VLAN on the Mik but I can ping IP's on the same subnet on either side of the Mik.
The config uses two ports:
Port 1 - Accepts VLAN 49 and can communicate with
Port 2 - Accepts VLAN 49 and can see IP's on the same subnet through the Mik
Question is, how do I get the SWITCH side of the Mik to see the VLAN without creating a virtual switch with a bridge? I feel comfortable that the switching be handled by the switch chip. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Tim
