Bridge filter rule for physical interface and subinterfaces

Sun Jun 27, 2010 6:04 am

Is it possible to make a bridge filter rule that will match everything on a physical interface , including logical subinterfaces on that physical interface? Like I want to match everything that goes out a certain ethernet port, including if it is on a vlan on that ethernet port. Normally if I make a filter rule that is set to out ether1 in will not match the traffic on the vlans under ether1.

From what I understand that is only for v4.x +.
Any way to do something like this in v3.x?
For sure I'm not the first one to want to do something like this.

then seems like you should create a rule per VLAN interface =)

and you are first one who want to do that. why do you need it at all?..
