Need to configure Bonding

can any one help me to make failover using bonding with trunk link in mikrotik router. I have attached my graph for reference. I have two vlan trunk link need to arp fail over whenver one link is disconnected other link must active. please help..

Hi,

to make this trunk you need a mikrotik in your provider.

If not, you only could make load balancing with PCC, for example.

i need layer 2 failover. and there is Trunk interface means multiple vlan exist there.

what's on ISP side?..

are those different IP interfaces?

no just switch interface(not IP) need layer 2 failover. both link are connected from switch and both port are trunk port. just i need if fiber is cut off then link should change and go though another fiber link. There is no IP if was then we can use BGP but this is Layer 2 link.

a trunk port?.. you mean, link aggregation? is it configured statically or using LACP?

at provider end there is no mikrotik so is that possible ?

the service provider is not using Mikrotik so can we use LACP for fail over and is there possible if i use link aggregation in one only. as per upper picture service provider is giving us link through cisco switch.

well, I wasn't able to make LACP working with D-Link switches, so I just set up static bonding with bonding-xor mode. works fine for four months already =)
