Hotspot & email form

Wed Aug 18, 2010 11:17 am

Hi all,

I would like unauthenticated hotspot users after filling a request form, to be able to send an email.
Can this be done? Although I have created the form,I cant find a way to send the email trasparently for users (without using their mail client).

Is that possible?!

Thank you

Hi,

you can make a website outside your network, and make the form there. When the form is filled, send an email with your outnetwork email server.

You only need to enter your website to hotspot/ipbindings like:
/ip hotspot walled-garden
add action=allow comment="" disabled=no dst-host=www.ibersystems.es

The web server on the router cannot send email. If you want form based email, you HAVE to submit the form to some external system.
