We have a hotspot setup, but need to control the amount of UDP traffic by users. We are already stopping all p2p traffic. Users must be using udp for some encrpted p2p or other functions. We have noticed that some users could have hundreds of udp session open.
From my limited understanding of RouterOS, we can limit tcp in many different ways but we don't seem to have many ways of limiting udp.
Can we configure the router to add a user ip to an address when the number of udp connections for that ip address goes over a certain amount. Eg. 10
This way we could setup a pcq queue and let all these users contend for a specific amount of bandwidth.
