It looks like my earlier post about using an RB450G to serve RADIUS for ubnt radios in WPA2-EAP mode was deleted without an answer or a reason.

Can an admin verify that it was deleted and PM me as to why?

In the mean time, I'm still trying to get User Manager to talk RADIUS to external devices- should be pretty simple. So far I've
1. Set the RB450G up with 5rc5 and a simple masquerade config.
2. Installed User Manager
3. Added the ubnt radio IPs as Routers
4. Set up and enabled a customer and users
5. Set the radios to use WPA2-EAO with the IP and port of User Manager
6. Tested by trying to connect to the AP

AAA fails. The RB450G doesn't log anything in User Manager

Thanks for the help. Please PM me if you delete this post again so I can at least know why!

Ubiquiti doesn't have a radius client, so you need to configure the client side radius options on the rb450.

Configure the mikrotik with a hotspot on the interfaces to which the UB's are connected.

I know that RC4 works, but no idea on rc5.

With 11 versions so far and none of them yet fit for production use, exercise much caution.

Thanks for the reply. Ubiquiti radios can use RADIUS for WPA2-AES EAP (At least their M radios on 5.2.1+). I've come to believe that User Manager can't do EAP, although the Wiki Docs aren't totally clear.

I think I'll wait a bit for RouterOS 5 to get cleaned up a bit before trying again.
