RB600+RB816 ROS 5.1 - reboot after winbox login

Wed Jul 06, 2011 11:11 am

hi,

do you have any idea why the AP is rebooting after installation of RB816 and logging into AP via winbox.

If I try to connect to mentioned RB600(+RB816) via winbox. If I'm connected via wireless to the RB600 it's rebooting itself.

If i try to connect via our server through ssh tunnel to this RB via winbox everything is working fine.

The other limitation is that I can't login to AP's behind the mentioned AP (RB600+RB816) only via ssh tunnel.

With the RB816 we've got some problems, the mac addresses on each LAN is the same. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

I've changed the port for winbox and it's working fine, now I've problem only with the mac addresses that there are the same MAC addresses on the RB816 how can I change them?

Thanks for your help in advanced

1) Change MAC-addresses manually via console, /interface ethernet set etherx mac-address=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

2) Run /system reset-configuration to get correct MAC-addresses.
