Please describe in more detail what you mean by "lock-up".
I have abandoned NV2 altogether, excepting on 1 AP that has just 8 clients (continued experimental use!!!!)
However most of my network is using Ros5.6 as I have been chasing down those "port flapping" issues, nether the less, the implication of 5.6 made NO changes at all to the Port Flap issues, in fact if I am honest, I see it now more times on an AP throughout the day (3am included) than I did before ros5.6 was installed.
Now on this same AP, and for the first time! yesterday morning, a client called me to say that he had no internet. I investigated to find that the MAC and IP were still in the ARP of the neigbouring router and still in the "neighbour list". The router was NOT pingable!...
I hastily powered down the AP and re-started it, a matter I regret!, but I think we all are more concerned about keeping customer continuity rather than going off on a hunt to find the problem (more specific)
So after the even, I logged into a few clients, to note that "from a radio point of view, there were NO disconnects", so it would seem that on this router, the port flap has progressed to "port buggered"!!
Is this what you guys are referring to as "lockup", if it is, then I confirm that its not specific to NV2.
