Public IP DHCP

Sat Dec 17, 2011 5:18 am

Hi;

I Want to give public IP's by dhcp to my customers, like cable and Dsl companies do it. I want to get rid of Nat's. Can i do it by configure the public Ip's on the dhcp off the mikrotik router? Or there's more setting involve in this because i will be giving public IP's dynamically? How long can be Lease time?

My Mikrotik Routers are (x86 3.4Ghz Dual 2G Memory) 2(Rb/1000)

Thanks in advance?

There is no difference. People had the idea, that some of the addresses have to be filtered and not used in internet - and they will be "private" :). The router doesn't see a difference between 192.168.1.0/24 and 77.155.81.0/24 :).
