Hello there.

I have a RB Crossroads router that was happily running version 3.

I upgraded it to version 5, as I was having a little issue that I wanted to check out on a different build. Installed without any issues, and when I loaded winbox, it requested to automatically upgrade from the old key to the new key system. I clicked OK, thing upgraded and was all dandy.

However now I need to re-downgrade to version 3 or 4 (why, is a long story), and now it's telling me that the think has an invalid license and will quit on me in the next 24 hours.

It never crossed my mind to export / copy the key before I accepted the upgrade. Is there ANY possible way to have this thing rolled back to the old license so I can continue working as I was before? I hope there is

Now I reinstalled 5.12 back, and still says the same thing.

forum users can't give you new licenses, you need to contact mikrotik support

use your www.mikrotik.com account to get your old key
