About RB800

Tue Mar 27, 2012 3:50 pm

Hi All,

- RB800 is about to quit producing?
- What is good point of bad point of RB800.

I want to find High throughput board with 4minipci slot.
Somebody say RB800 will be discontinued. So I wish to know Mikrotik's plan and reputation from user.

- no, it's still being produced
- good: it's fast. bad: it's more expensive and bigger than some other wireless devices we have for sale. RB800 is ideal for very high speed, and extreme environments.

-how about point to point effective throughput in indoor?
And outdoor.

-Can I get CPU specification of RB800?

-If input four 3*3minipci card, performance will be higher then four 2*2minipci card?

Specifications and Throughput tests are here: http://routerboard.com/RB800
We don't give any wireless throughput results because those depend on the card, antenna, environment and type of clients.

Of course 3x3 MIMO would be higher speed than 2x2 MIMO.

Also good: Only current option if you need lots of radios and large packet sizes.
