Will UPNP transverse several layers of NAT?

Fri Aug 03, 2012 1:59 am

Will UPNP work through say 2 or 3 layers of NAT when all routers are MT?

no, upnp will make NAT rules only on first router it encounters.

Janisk,

One other question about UPNP. If you are using it with the default config on a 751U-2HnD do you set it up to run on the bridge interface for the internal?
no, upnp will make NAT rules only on first router it encounters.
Thanks,
Chadd
