Set date and time in MIkrotik

Hi,

i have RB433 board ....if i set date and time in the board and after reboot it return back to year 1970...

what to do to keep it to current year ,date and time....

board doesn't have a battery, so it ca't remmeber time. you must use NTP client on the device to get internet time

Hi,

Maybe creating a tick box on the 'NTP' tab that says 'update NTP time on reboot' can force the RB unit to look for the NTP server and update the time. This would then be reflected in the Log and not on the first real entry like when a user logs on and the time is then refreshed.

Just my 1 cent.

it already updates NTP time upon reboot, without any checkbox.
