[RB2011L] Switch 0 and Switch 1

Tue Dec 18, 2012 4:20 pm

Hi there,

this is the first time I'm using an RB2011L. I've noticed that there are in Ethernet interface detail two "switch": 0 and 1.

How do they work? Are they different switches? Does hosts on switch 1 can communicate with switch 0?

Thanks!

if both switchgroups are bridged then yes, they can communicate with each other.

Thanks for your answer.
Do I need to set both of two switches on this "Switch all ports" in order to do what you're suggested?

Please read this manual, how to use switch chip features.
