hAP ac running 6.45.6
I did the quick check / check for updates routine which brought me up to 6.45.6.
When the router rebooted it beeped once and then once again instead of a double beep the second time. I could not get in using the router's IP address so I pulled the power cable to reset it.
After it rebooted I got in using the MAC address in winbox neighbors, IP would not connect.
When I got in I found out I had no IP from the cable modem under IP dhcp client, it was stuck in searching mode. My private IP of 192.168.100.1 was disabled. I enabled it and rebooted but had the same problem of no internet access.
I shut down the router and the cable modem, left the modem off for 5 minutes, then turned the router on after the modem indicated it was running with an IP address. I have seen it pull an IP from the router on occasion.
This time I got in using the IP address in winbox but still have no internet access. Tools / ping does ping the WAN gateway, DNS addresses and my website but I can't ping any public IPs from windows except for my WAN IP. I can't ping the WAN gateway from the PC.
I was able to update the routerboard firmware.
Tools / IP scan sees all my LAN devices, some are hard coded IPs, others get statics from the dhcp server.
I cleared the DNS cache and it started filling up immediately. I don't get IPs when I try to ping a domain name in windows but I can ping sites by name in tools / ping in the router. I changed the first DNS address and enabled the ISP's DNS too.
This doesn't make sense to me, looks to be a routing issue but I have no clue where to go next.

Afternoon update - I gave up waiting for help, reset to default and rebuilt it. One thing I noticed before I reset was my wifi interfaces were being managed by CAPSman even though I never did that.
