1 office 2 remote sites

Wed Apr 24, 2013 10:06 pm

I got asked to set up a VPN between an Office and Home. They would also like to be able to connect a remote site as well.

This seems really cut and dry to me.
Site one (Office) has a static IP.
Site two (Home) is Dynamic
Site three (HomeOffice) is Dynamic

Figure have sites 2 and 3 PPtP to site 1 then use EOIP

They have a 100Meg connection at the office.

So I think a 2011 at each site should more then do it?

Or am I not aiming high enough?

2011 would be fine. Why do you want to use EoIP? Unless your absolutely have to be on the same layer 2 network I would route everything instead.

I was thinking the same thing.

I would think 3 subnets and 3 routes... only question would be making sure I got it right so when site 3 wants to reach site 2 it can. But that is a matter of routes.

I thought just for the wow factor for the Home and Office of the owner... access as if he is on the same subnet.

Thanks for the confirm.
