TX Drops on VLAN Interfaces

Wed Jul 10, 2013 6:35 pm

Hello, I have a problem that I think is causing me some grief.

I have a ubiquiti toughswitch pro powering 4 ubiquiti radios that trunk back to an RB1100AHx2.
In the past week or so I have noticed TX drops on the vlan interfaces. Reading around the forums I mostly see posts about TX drops with i386 boxes.

I have posted about this in the ubiquiti forum as well as I'm a tad bit suspect of the toughswitch pro.

Is there anything on the RB1100 that I need to be looking at that might help this problem?

I run MPLS/VPLS over a routed network using OSPF. I increase the MTU on all radios to allow the traffic to pass. I also enabled jumbo frames on the toughswitch.

Comments welcome

Regards.

I tried MANY things and have gotten it to slow down considerably but it is still happening a little.
I couldn't even begin to tell you what did the most good. it's been to long and many things tried...
