Detect which of the AP / interface a user connects to a hots

Tue Sep 10, 2013 1:11 pm

It has a 3-AP network that are currently running behind a Mikrotik 450G header with ROS 6.2 and the mac-Cookie functionality turned on. Hotspot currently runs on a bridge formed by eth2-eth3-eth-4 which connect each of the APS. The system works well because users only need to be validated once.
My problem is I want to know that AP is connected each customer. I thought of creating three hotspots with what initially would have the problem solved but it is important for the system that once validated the user does not ask for credentials again when AP changing.
I can think of as an idea some method of MAC-Cookie sharing between different system hotspots. Is this possible or anyone has any other ideas?

Thanks in advance

no.. the network is already bridged, this is the problem (i have the same problem with 45 AP). I don't know any way to know from which AP customer X is connected, and i'm also interested to know :)

May be a new option like
MAC-Cookie share in the same user-profile from a hotspot
