Multiple networks using vmware

Hi there im using RB751U-2HnD with v6.5, i would like to create multiple networks with differents ip, right now my laptop have mac osx but also im using vmware with debian 7, for example my laptop have for example 192.168.88.23 but i would like to have in my vmware a different ip: 192.168.5.23 but i cannot get it working, it doesnt do ping. I dont know what else i can do. should i use vlan? or there is another option

Without thinking you can always create a Mikrotik VM. 1 physical port and n virtual ports. Then you can setup an e.g. eoip tunnel between RB751 and an x86 virtualised router. All you need to do now is to bridge the correct ports together. Don't forget to also include a vmware virtual adapter in the Mikrotik VM and also on the bridge.
