Sat Jun 04, 2016 11:04 pm

Good day.

model: RouterBOARD wAP 2nD r2
firmware-type: qca9531L
factory-firmware: 3.27
current-firmware: 3.33
upgrade-firmware: 3.33

Flash contains:
# NAME TYPE SIZE CREATION-TIME
0 flash disk jan/01/1970 03:00:00
1 flash/skins directory jan/01/1970 03:00:01
No user files.

Reported size- System\Resources:
Total HDD Size -16.0 MiB
Free HDD Space - 3568 KiB
RouterOS 6.35.2 (the same - 6.34.5, 6.30)

But what is really worse - created backups, generated supout.rif or any other file uploaded with winbox\ftp\etc dissapear after reboot\shutting down.

Thanks, it works.
But why backup are creating in "root", not in "flash"? Odd.
Actually "flash" is not a directory, it behaves like some kind of mount point created in RAM-disk:
# NAME TYPE
0 flash disk
1 flash/skins directory

Still - why only approx. 20% reported as free space?

Because that's what you have. In the past, even cheap devices used to have 64-128MB of disk space. Now MikroTik believes that "16MB must be enough for everyone". Substract the space needed by system (~11MB for default combined package) and it makes your 3.5MB.
