I have two SXT routers that are doing this.

So I'll list the things I did in order so that you can have a better understanding...

1. Cleared the configuration and cleared the default config as well so it was 100% clean.
2. Put in mipsbe packages (advanced tools, dhcp, ipv6, ntp, ppp, security, system, wireless cm-2)
3. Reboot router to update to new packages.
4. Stuck in Boot Loop.


I have tried to reset to factory settings and even tried to boot into netinstall mode but it just keeps rebooting continuously. When it keeps rebooting it would just make the one single beep and then there would be two quiet clicks. But when I tried to reset to factory settings it would make the chirping noise then a solid beep but keep rebooting doing that until i just pressed the regular reset button.

Anyone have any ideas? I would hate to have to go through the trouble of RMA'ing or just throwing them away.

Reset, reset. Netinstall, netinstall... Maybe backup partition if you got it prepared before trying to update...
