Try deactivating all network interfaces on your Windows machine, but the one over which you connect to your router. Also deactivate interfaces from VMware or the like.

Netinstall sometimes has a hard time on multi-interface-cards from my experience.

OK... here we go...

Some NICs have issues with netinstall.. (it is the windows side)

I use a Xircom CE2 or similar "stupid / slow" card and it works fine..

Run a search on some of my older posts and they will go into more detail on the issue..

Craig..

Additionally I would suggest to use the latest Netinstall and upgrade firmware on the RB532.

The latest Netinstall is here,
http://www.mikrotik.com/download.html

Firmware can be upgradable,

run Hyperterminal program,
1) switch on the RouterBOARD, hit any key to enter to the RouterBOOT;
2) click 'g' - upgrade firmware;
3) select 's' - upgrade firmware over serial port (use option Send File from
HyperTerminal program), use Xmodem protocol.
Firmware file is available for download here,
http://routerboard.com/files/rb-2.18/rc32434-2.18.fwf
