i have RB150 with firmware version 2.6 and i want to upgrade to version 2.12, i'm using xterm for uploading new firmware but after reboot the firmware is still version 2.6 even int he terminal says firmware upgraded sucessful. any suggestion how to upgrade this rb150 firmware ?

don't use this method, there is an easier way!

1. start your router (make sure you have latest RouterOS)
2. in RouterOS type the command "/system routerboard upgrade"
3. reboot

thanks for the reply normis, i'm already trying the way you suggest i'm using mk version 3.6 after upgrade the router tell me to reboot, but after reboot the firmware is still 2.6 , is it possible that the write signal to the flash rom has been blocked? so the flash rom is only readable but not writeable

copy to FILES.
Run terminal:

/system routerboard print
/system routerboard upgrade
/system reboot
