RouterBOARD 450G

Sun Apr 19, 2009 4:36 am

Hello there, I am looking forward to buying this board in may when it comes out and was wondering if it supports installation of OpenBSD using the micro SD card slot it contains.

Like if is the CPU support on BSD Unix systems or linux kernel. I thinking of buying one to turn into a firewall using PF.

Thanks.

Why wait until May? The RB450G is out and many Mikrotik distributors have it in stock. We have been shipping them to customers for nearly a month.

With 256MB RAM, 512MB on board Flash, and up to 8GB micro SD HC Flash (yes I have tested it with Sandisk flash), the RB450G should be perfect for Linux and BSD ports. But it will take some time since it is a new product.

I have a problem with network switch.
