HI, Im Charles from Argentina Country, since 2 years ago im working here in my country repairing boards like, RB600, RB333, RB133, RB532 and so on... in the last week i ´ve recibed 5 board RB532 with a Failed U22 (ISL6402IVZ) so i went to Intersil website to buy some pcs of this chip and i ve noticed tha that part is discontinued !! so i went to digikey website and the ISL6402IVZ is not in stock, what can i do ?? Help me Please !!anyone knows where can i get some Pcs of ISL6402IVZ ? Sorry about my english !!
If they are discontinued and there isn't any stock left in the normal channels, you will have to search the gray market for it.
Be prepared to buy a quantity (usually 100 or more) and pay a fair price for it. Some will ask you to make an offer - most times an unreasonably low offer will be immediately rejected, so when asked to make an offer, make it at least reasonable. Most NOS semiconductors are usually located in Asia (China, Hong Kong, etc), so sometimes language can be a difficulty.

If you are offering this as a service, and this is a common failure, you would do well to buy a quantity of these parts to stock yourself. If this is a casual repair, you will be better off replacing the RB532's with something current (RB433 comes to mind).
