I changed from a R52 board to a XR-2 board on my AP.
When replaced with the XR-5 the signals from the clients were in the low 70s, this is what they originally were. I was told all I had to do is replace and enable the XR5.
Is there somthing that has to be changed when going from the R52 to the XR2? Or could it be a bad XR2?
Make up your mind. Did you install an XR2 or an XR5?
It's obviously not the same card.
Your problems are:
1) You forgot to change the settings on the DHCP server. You need to assign the DHCP server to the new interface.
2) You posted in the wrong part of the forum. This part of the forum is for hardware issues - you have a software issue.
3) If I "Got a ton of angry cust," I would hire a consultant to fix the problems immediatly, not hope for replies on the forum.
