Graphs don't store in RBs

Sun Jun 21, 2009 5:47 am

Hi all,
I'm having trouble getting graphs stored on disk even though "store on disk" has been enabled. Everything went blank after power off (NOT REBOOT).

Thanks

I have the exact same problem on all version of routeros. I gave up and decided to do the graphing from cacti externally.

Are you using NTP client to set time on the router?

After reboot, graphing is checking the system clock. If correct time is not set during first 5 minutes after reboot, graphing accepts the new time as correct, even if it is 1970/Jan/01. All the previously collected data, which is invalid in respect to the new time, is dropped.

In other words - if your router does not get correct system time in 5 minutes after reboot, it is likely that you will lose previously collected data. Does not matter how the time is set (manually or via NTP).

Yes, I have NTP running on all routerboards.
