So i need some sort or user database.

Like radius!

Does the RB433 has a radius SERVER or does it only connect to a radius server?

Do you have to download a server software like freeRadius ? does this run on the board or a pc server?

i did.

but when i go onto the internet it just works.

and if i try access the hot spot //hotspot or 192.168.1.2 it like loads then gives me the internet explorer no connection error.

Is a hotspot the easiest way to manage a mini ISP.

I want to provide internet to a few people in a rural farming area and each client will have a CPE that connects to a rb433 . Whats the easiest way to manage how much internet they will use? and so that not any one can jus login? i was thinking hotspot?

I am busy following that tutorial.

I can Connect to the hotspot and i can get an Ip from its DHCP.

But i still dont get asked to login when i try go on the internet?

is ther meant to be a bridge any where? or does the hotspot act as a bridge?

1. first configure your router that the internet works fine without hotspot
2. then run the hotspot setup

watch this video: http://www.tiktube.com/index.php?video=53

if this video can't help you, nobody can
