Is it possible to add wireless to this box by buying the R52N card and adding it manually?:

Where did you get the info from, that RB450G has minipci? Sorry to say, but it doesn't have any slots to add a wireless card.

indeed, RB450G does not have miniPCI slot where to plug wifi card. you should look at RB433 or similar. Also, if you need gigabit and wireless other options are RB600 or RB800.

Or you can go with RB411 + RB750G
