Router Board 433 want boot

my router board 433 just removed from its box todai and powered up for the first time want boot the boot reset button wont work either what do i do ? onther question if the router board does not beep or the green light doesnt go off wuld the hyper terminal work?

yes, you should see at least something in the output of serial port.

green light up means it is stuck into bootloader.

connect serial cable and see what is output on the terminal. paste it here.

i have a console cable with male on one side and female on the other side i bought a female converter for the other side but nuthing loads up on the hyperterminal also i have a cisco consle cable with rj45 on one side and female console on the other side what do i do now ? as it doesnt work does this thing go in the console port at the back of a old pc or does it go into the vga port ?

i have a rs232 console cable but it has male on one side and female on the other

i tried to plug the console on the board and one on to the computer console and tried to hyper terimnal into the board but get nuting no connection?

Yes.

What type power supply are you using? What is the voltage and current rating?

i am using 24volts ove poe but have no console cable if i get one i will try it

Have you tried booting it with a power supply directly? Not PoE. If nothing lights on the board (check the 5 mini-leds on the board surface. Not sure if 433 has these, the 433ah does), either the board has failed completely or the board is not getting the correct power.

normis sorry for the double post made a mistake and surftim i have 2 of these boards one works well ove poe 24volts 0.83a the other board lights up everything it wont boot at the load up i don t have a serial cable to resolve the issue so i will send the board back mikrotik in lativa making life eaiser tc

i have rb433 with nor even a sound on startup. actually not started. no signal system ready, only blue lamp lights on power on.

attaching rs 232 - no any output on console. just connected, no output

ah, i forgot - this is problem after week work, power stopped for replacing cables. after power on rb not started.

then it's born to me at office - thus result

btw, when fire up google search with search words 'routerboard', 'failed' and 'boot', first 100 results are rb433 or rb433ah about
