KanjiMonster on the openwrt forum has expanded the AR8216 switch driver to function with the RB450's gigabit switch--the AR8316. Full VLAN configuration is now available. Lack of VLAN support was the last niggling issue with the RB450G with Kamikaze--it's now officially a kamikaze monster router!

Kanji has two patches--one for the switch driver and one that configures the RouterStation Pro and RouterBoard 450G to use the patched driver. Simply download his patches, place them in your kamikaze folder and apply them using the commands listed in the below thread. The patch compiles nicely and seems to be very stable. It's been tested for throughput and is up to speed.
