2 SR2’s and 1 SR5 on a RB433AH Question.

Tue May 11, 2010 10:58 pm

I am curious if anyone has any experience using 2 SR2’s and 1 SR5 on a RB433AH.
I’m wondering the cards may require more power than the board can supply.

If anyone has any experience with this combination of cards on a 433ah please let me know if you have experienced any issues or not.

It would be greatly appreciated!

I plan on using a pacwireless POE-24i

POE 90-264VAC, Output 24VDC at .8A 12W

Auto ranging power supply/ inserter
Built-in ethernet surge protection to prevent equipment damage
Overload and short circuit protection
Minimum cross talk and insertion loss

Is it correct that the 433ah has a 16W maximum output to cards?

Yes, that is declare in documentation but actualy it's higher. There is some mistake " Output 24VDC at .8A 12W " can you check it on PSU?

The only thing the POE-24i says on it is AC Input 100-240V and DC Output 24V/0.8A

PSU .... Power Supply Unit?

24V x 0.8A =19.2W I think it's enough for RB433 with three high power cards.
