Recent lightning storm had discovered a "feature" of my RB750 - common Rx termination bar that distributed a surge from cable modem to all other ports. All equipment I've seen before (even the cheapest stuff like OvisLink) had separate termination circuit (that 2x75 Ohm plus ceramic cap) for each port. As an example - in our particular case there were two crap ~10eur switches attached to two ports of that unlucky RB750, now both have upstream (to RB750) port damaged, but nothing more. Are four caps more so expensive?
