RB751U-2HnD - UMTS

Wed Oct 26, 2011 10:41 pm

Hi,

I want to buy a RB751U-2HnD.
But can I connect a USB UMTS Stick to it?

The RB411UAHR would have a onboad sim-slot but it's more expensive. :-(

Is there a adapter available that I can connect my 3G PCMCIA card to a RB751U-2HnD board?
Here I found that the Novatel U730 (PCMCIA) is supported since v3. :-)
Why U740 (PCMCIA) is not supported? The EU740 is supported!

greets Markus

The novatel u730 is supported on the PC/x86 platform, hence PCMCIA.
Many single USB sticks will work fine with the RB751, if you have the right settings from youre telecom operator.

Some operators dosent need any settings other than APN.. :)

Good luck!
