Disabling RB450G Beeper

Fri Dec 16, 2011 7:43 pm

Sorry for this newbie question but I'm on a tight time line.

I need to disable the startup beep on the RB450G. Is this a configurable option in the firmware? If yes, where? Other wise I have to remove 50 beepers which I'm sure will void all of the warranties.

First, your instruction worked like a charm :D

Is there a similar function for disabling the green (pwr?) and blue leds?

Pretty sure not... but if you have any electronics abilities, you can probably physically disable them by desoldering on the routerboard.
