r52hn + rb433uah power up problem

Sat Jan 28, 2012 6:16 am

I just bought a r52hn for my rb which was already runnin just as a user manager without any mpci. now when i put the r52hn on my rb433 it does not powerup. I remove the mpci and it runs beautifully but togather the board acts dead. I haved used the power adapter directly and with poe same result.

You need PSU with higher max. current, e.g. 12V 1.5A.

it is not possible to use 3 high power cards in RB433/AH/UAH

power budget is 16W for example one RB52Hn uses 7W (dual chain N mode), so 2 cards are at 14W, so you can add low power card to have all 3 slots populated.

If you require 3 high power cards you have to go with RB435G that has up to 40W to miniPCI with cooling.
