Problem with SXT Voltage Sensor .. or software bug?

Fri Feb 17, 2012 6:09 pm

Hi there,

i have a script that checks the SXT Input Voltage every 30 Minutes. We have a 12V UPS there and if Voltage goes below 13V (normally its ~13.8V) we know that its running on Battery.

I just got a notice that voltage has dropped to 4.9V but i doubt that since that it's outside the range (8..30V) and the device is still working well.

Anyone else noticed a wrong Voltage report? anything i can do?

The script-part is kinda easy ->
if ([/system health get voltage] < 130) do={:log error "alarm: low voltage - $[[/system health get voltage]]"}

The log is send to a syslog host and the host is sending the notice via email.

Regards,
Joerg
