RB1100AHx2 Compromised... Help Recovering!!

Thu Apr 26, 2012 8:00 pm

Hello Everyone!

I hv a RB1100AHx2, had it installed for BGP with upstream providers. I, by mistake, left it unprotected (without password) fr a while. And that time it got hacked(someone logged in & set a password fr that). And now, I'm unable to login/configure my router.

I followed users guide to find a procedure for resetting it back to default. Manual available at http://routerboard.com/pdf/353/rb1100ug.pdf refers to S1 switch & TP12 to reset bootloaders. But, I don't find any such switches/jumpers on the board. If anyone can help me locate these on routerboard. Or suggest any other way to get rid of this situate will be appreciated.

Thank you in advance. :)

Rahul..
