Sometimes the switch goes crazy, some bad interfaces?

Fri Jul 06, 2012 10:57 am

Always without any regularity every 48 hours all the LEDs on the switch work intermittently all together.

This causes instability in the local network. Ping devices down, Dude doesn't work property.

The switch is connected with RB433 with installed only one wlan. When the problem occurs, I have tried changing the ethernet cable connection by moving it on RB433 eth2 and eth3 but the problem remains. After some hours, the problem disappears it's all working smoothly again. My doubt is whether the problem can be caused by a hardware problem or if I need to investigate a software problem.

I would like to know if it's a known issue,

What kind of location is this? Are there some strong radio emitters?

One more step.

There is no noise in the location, but the problem is perhaps the wlan work.

The wlan is in station bridge mode (NV2 protocol and single chain), when the switch is in error I tried not to touch the interface eth1 but rather disable the wlan and the problem stops.

I'm thinking that after a lot of traffic data, the R52Hn (wlan1) fails and causes a traffic problem on the LAN,

is it possible?

I will try to replace it with a new wlan to see if indeed this is a problema.
