mitay, check if "n - silent boot" is not turned on. This option disables beeper when booting.

I can't enter to bootloader menu, it is my problem.
HyperTerminal no more connects to router. I don't know why. Do you have anything idea?

Try to reinstall the router with Netinstall.
Hold RB450G reset button for about 10 seconds while booting, to make RB450G look for Netinstall server.

Have you tried other baud rates in HyperTerminal? For example, 9600 bits/s to see anything in terminal while RB450G boots.

If there is no output, only solution is prepare Netinstall on PC, connect PC to ether1 port of RB450G and reset it with reset hole in order to connect to Netinstall after backup booter loads.
Try different metal objects to cover both sides of reset hole, because sometimes it is quite tricky with screwdriver.

How make prepare Netinstall on PC, what "Client IP adress" in "Net booting" button?
After reset router takes default ip?
I give him file system-5.20-mipsbe.npk and other 5.20 packages, its right?

Reset hole router action is too reset button.

How make prepare Netinstall on PC, what "Client IP adress" in "Net booting" button?
Set static IP on PC, for example, 10.0.0.1, netmask - 255.255.255.0 and in Netinstall "Client IP adress" - 10.0.0.2
After reset router takes default ip?
Your router does not seem to be able to boot in RouterOS, so it does not take default IP address. In this case, the point of reset is connecting to Netinstall and getting Client IP from Netinstall.
I give him file system-5.20-mipsbe.npk and other 5.20 packages, its right?
Yes, Mipsbe packages are correct ones for RB450G.

Hi!

Sorry for revive this old thread, mitay you got any solution ?

My RB450G it's a bit death. Blue led it's on and the upper led it's also on.

No beep on boot.
No activity on ethernet port leds, no link, Only a fast On and Off when I insert the power.
None within hyperterminal COM port.

The only thigs I see are some symbols similar to a house sometimes on the "boot".

I tried NetInstall but I don't see nothing.

Shall I prepare a grave for this routerboard?

I took the routerboard to an electronical technician which changed the electronical capacitor which was a bit blowed up (or inflated)

Take an eye on these capacitors:

If your RouterBoard has one in a similar status that should be the problem of the board.
