I emailed in the following question earlier today, am waiting for a reply, and then I found the forum, so I decided to post the same question here:

I am thinking about getting the RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN, but I have three questions:

1. How often do you put out firmware updates for it?

2. Are there any plans on bringing out an 802.11ac -- which is backwards compatiable with 802.11a/b/g/n -- version?

3. Why aren't there any resellers of your products in Toronto, Canada, and are there any plans on getting places like Canada Computers, TigerDirect Canada, NCIX to carry your routers?

RouterBOARD is a more professional grade device, selling it in grocery stores would end up in many confused people. When our software has an interface simple enough that anybody can configure it - we might as well do so. Quickset is a step in this direction.

I can understand that about TigerDirect, but people who shop at Canada Computers, NCIX, etc. know what they are doing when it comes to hardware and such!

I know it was over a year ago - but I wanted to point out XAGYL Communications - who is out of Ottawa was great when I bought my 3 RB2011UAS-​2HnD-IN devices. They are an authorized distributor.
It was purchased online - just thought I'd pass it on in case someone was thinking about it.

despite irony in comment, i would very velcome MT shelf in my favorite grocery story.
