for routerboard, you can use USB LCD. for example, I have a Crystalfontz 635 plugged into my RB751 and it works great.

1-which kind of router-board i can use?
any kind with USB port. see www.routerboard.com for details
2-the cable i should use to connect lcd to router-board?
regular USB cable which is normally connected to the LCD already
3-which port i can use on router-board?
USB
4-the map of cable.
no need
5-I have nexcom parallel LCD . can i use it? if not kinds of LCD's.
none of routerboard models have Parallel port. You can use USB only.

Thanks Normis,
I am buying the crystalfontz LCD directly from it's company in USA as they say they are direct company.
From starting to buy till receiving the products it takes long time plus transporting price of one piece is equal to 10 pieces. therefor i can't buy just one for test and then continue. so before i start i have to know below questions to make sure i select the right one.

1- Crystalfontz has six type of cfa-635 usb like cfa-635-TMF-KU1, cfa-TMF-KU2 and ....
may i ask yours part number that is working with Mikrotik properly.

2- can i use cfa632-YDI-KU or cfa632-YFH-KU as they are cheaper and i don't need keypad.

sorry to bother but when i buy i can't return if they don't work.

Thanks a lot.

I think any of them will work, so get the cheaper one. Even if it doesn't work, it will be easy for us to add support.

hi normis,

you are based in Europe and most of the others are based in US or South East Asia where they have easy access to such devices like LCD, enclosures, etc...

but in India I really am breaking my head by hitting it on the wall as sourcing even one compatible product for working with Mikrotik is very difficult. I am trying very hard to design custom enclosures with LED outputs from the Routerboard to the surface of the enclosure with LCD etc. but not able to get hold of any of this raw material.

can you please help me with the leads of where i can get this.

i think the basic price + shipping + customs for that is truning out to be very expensive and end user will not pay for it.

i will stick to the 16 x 2 LCD ( JHD 162A ) for the time being.

i have posted another topic in the routerboard hardware section where i have asked for the ROUTERBOARD Serial ( 9 pin ) to 16x2 LCD pin diagram.

can anyone please help me?
