This is the routerboard that will do the job :
RB2011UiAS-RM

It is rack mountable, it has 5 gigabit ports and 5 100mbit ports, it supports vpn, has usb for cache storage, it will do nat and basic firewall for a lot more than 10mbit/s. As a bonus you get sfp.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Just checked the Model detail and have an interest on License Level 6 Models.
Any suggest models from L6 for our need?
Also another Question, what kind of Hard disk the Model Support.

Thank you all for your time.

1100AHx2 do not have USB for external disk. Only microSD slot.

Why do you need level 6?

http://routerboard.com/RB2011UiAS-RM have USB and LEVEL5 ($119)

If you need LEVEL6 and USB there is only http://routerboard.com/CCR1009-8G-1S ($425)

Good Day.

Many many thank you to all. May need L6 or may not, who know what will the requirement in the future. So better go for L6. And don’t like Limits.

Need to Clarify, We are actually not looking for Local VPN Server, Actually looking for Local Clients or Users can connect to external VPN Servers using VPN Client. Hope Those Models you peoples mention support the VPN Client Protocols through NAT. (PPTP, L2TP, IPSEC, VPNoverHTTPS tunnel, IPSec etc).
And Hope any Ordinary Portable MicroUSB HDD (for Example - WD,MicroUSB, 250GB HDD/SSD) is supported.
Around 400 Users and 200 are Heavy Internet Browsing Users.

Just need one more help. Which one is better on our need and future growth, both models are with-in our range,

1. RB2011UiAS-RM
2. CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+

Thank you again for the help.

If you want to be future oriented and maybe switch to higher speeds some day, go with the CCR option. The 2011 is not capable of real world NAT beyound 200Mbps.
