Outdoor Wireless AP suggestion

Fri Aug 22, 2014 7:19 pm

Hi, I have the following situation (picture below). I need to connect 2 offices wirelessly. The distance between the two offices is about 400m with line of sight. The speed (300Mbp+) and the stability of the link between the two offices is very important. Can someone suggest the best Mikrotik devices (outdoor wireless ap with antena) for the described situation?

You will not get such speed in reality. Using 2x2 mimo gives a bit more than 200 mbits /s. Maybe by some ac device... Sxt5 ac for example.

I use 2 SXT 5 for years and it is a verry stable connection.
The distance is about 700 Meters.
Speed is between the 200 and 240Mbps.

Now I replace them with SXT5 AC and hope the connection is as stable as it was and the speed will be a bit higher.

SXT Lite5 in bridge will not provide requested 300+Mbit/s speed. If there is such requirement, the ac is necessary.
