RBmAP2n - Problem with files store on disk

Sat Oct 11, 2014 5:09 pm

Hello,

have a brand new RBmAP2n and tried to store, for example, backups, logs, sys-note, supout.rif on disk (flash).
Done this via WinBox, Terminal or Webfig like on my other Mikrotik devices.
Tested with ROS v.6.18, v6.19, v.6.20 with ROS default configuration.

It works, all files are saved to "root" of the disk, not in "/flash/..."

For testing, uploaded a "test-file.txt" via Webfig. Here the file is stored in "/flash/test-file.txt"

Now preform a shutdown/reboot of my RBmAP2n.
... and sys-note, backup, log-on-disk, supout.rif are gone (deleted)!
Only the uploaded "test-file.txt" via Webfig is present.

Sorry, in this way, it didn't make sense for me. :? Make the device useless for me.
No other of my Mikrotik devices act like this RBmAP2n.
Wondering, no other user notice that ....
Is it a bug? Can it be fixed? Or do I something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

if you really want to save something on mAP you have to move that to /flash folder. Otherwise it will not survive the reboot of the router. That is intended behaviour.
